Michael Duane Hatchel

Michael Duane Hatchel, 51, passed away on June 26, 2024 in Florence, AZ. He was the husband of Star Denise Hatchel. They shared 21 years of their lives together. Michael “Mike” was loved by so many and loved just as much. From his infectious personality to his deep love of God, Mike was the kind of person that didn’t have any mean bone in his body .Everyone he came across, they left with a sense of peace and a smile on their face. With working at Drill Tech for over 15 years, he has made so many friends while doing the job he loved. He has told many stories about the work he does, locations he goes to and people he worked with. Mike’s favorite times in life were hanging out with friends and family, but mostly, being with his grandchildren. Mike leaves behind 3 granddaughters; Skyler, Avery, and Gracie and 1grandson; Barrett. Mike was generous, loyal, loving, funny and truly the rock of the family. He was the light of everyone’s lives and will be dearly missed. Mike is survived by his mother, Donna Hatchel; father, Johnny Hatchel; wife, Star Hatchel; sister, Jen Poling; daughter, Tiffany Hatchel; son; Cory Hatchel; and daughter, Allyssa Palmer. Preceded in death by his grandfather, Donald Spence; grandmother, Jean Spence; grandfather, Duane Hatchel; grandmother, Shirley Hatchel; uncle, Donnie Spence A Celebration of Life will follow after the services at the Arrowhead Country Club, 19888 N 73rd Ave, Glendale, AZ,85308, on July 9, 2024 at 3pm.
