Michael Steven Fernandez

Mike Fernandez peacefully transitioned into  the arms of our Savior on April 6, 2025. He found comfort in prayer, playing his guitar and dancing, and being outdoors Mike was born November 6, 1957 to Reyes Fernandez and Oralia Ray Gonzalez in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He joined the US Army and worked for the Hill Air Force Base as Air Craft Mechanic then he worked for the Salt Lake City Parks Department til he retired after 20 years. Mike is survived by his wife of 15 years Sylvia Fernandez, daughter Aaliyah Fernandez, brothers Leonard Fernandez, Tony Fernandez, sisters Lisa Fernandez, Dorothy Jaramillo, Angelina Fernandez and many nieces and nephews. He’s proceeded in death by his parents Reyes and Oralia, brothers Richard Moore, Billy Moore, Willie Moore, Reyes Fernandez, Patrick Fernandez nephews Gino Fernandez, Jatino and Valentino Fernandez, step-son Antonio Vasquez. Mike was an inspiration to his family and was loved by so many, he will be greatly missed.
