Merry E. Hall, 76, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at Fulton Center.

Born on December 25, 1948, in Mayfield, a daughter of the late Arthur and Bivian (Ellithorpe) Hall.

Merry was a lifelong resident of the area. She retired from MCA & Decker Records after many years but then went on to work various other jobs, including Knolls Market in Mayfield, Colonie Center in Northville, OTB and local bars and florist shops.

She was always there for her family, had a kind heart, fun loving spirit. Merry loved to garden and in her younger years, swim at the point at the Great Sacandaga. She loved to watch old movies, watch court tv, listen to radio shows and loved animals. Merry will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Merry is survived by her nieces and nephews, Tony, Jackie, Billy, Russell (Debbie) and Steve; many great

nieces and nephews as well as great great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Joan

Barney-Betler and JoAnn Hall-Russell; her brother, Arthur “Brud” Hall.

In keeping with Merry’s wishes, there will be no formal services at this time.
