Tribute: Merna Charlene VanBeber was born in Greeley, Colorado to Carl A. and Lucille V. Luther. She grew up in the Greeley area and graduated from University High in 1961 . On March 31, 1962 she married Charles VanBeber in Greeley. Merna was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great-great grandmother. Merna passed away Wednesday February 5th at Hospice in Red Cloud, Nebraska.

Survivors: Her husband, Chuck VanBeber; son Mark VanBeber (Moxana), daughter Kim Wheeler (Dennis), son Monty VanBeber (Marianne), and son Jeff VanBeber (Tonya).Also survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother Merle Luther (Patti) of Greeley, CO.
