Matt J. Romero, 72 years of age, passed on Monday February 10th, 2025, at his home in Greeley Colorado.

Matt was born June 10th, 1952, in Greeley CO to the late John and Louise Romero

In 1971, Matt was married to Iris June Fellows. They later divorced but remained best friends until the day he passed.

Matt was a hardworking family man and loved to play tennis and fish in his younger days. He was involved in his church until his passing.

Matt leaves behind a son, Lonnie Romero (Karla Masters), Granddaughter Kayla Romero, Great Granddaughter Mercy Romero, sister Jayne Griego, brother Mike Romero, niece Lilly Griego, niece Katrina Romero, nephews John Romero & Jesse Griego.

He was a huge Broncos fan and loved his beautiful baby dog Sage.

He will forever be missed.

Visitation will be from 5pm - 7pm on Friday February 21st, 2025 at Adamson life Celebration Home.

Recitation of the Rosary followed by Mass of Christian burial will start at 10:30am on Friday February 28th at St. Mary Catholic Church in Greeley CO with burial at Sunset Memorial Gardens at 2pm.
