Mary Lou Davenport, age 86, passed away on November 16, 2024, in Windsor, Colorado. Born on September 17, 1938, Mary Lou was a devoted and loving mother and grandmother, whose strong faith guided her throughout her life.

Mary Lou spent her career as a pre-school teacher, where her kind-heartedness, warmth, and humor left a lasting impact on many children, their parents, and her colleagues. She was an active member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Greeley, where she participated in various community activities.

She is survived by her daughter, Kathy Wise; son, David Davenport; and sister, Natalina Schrock. Mary Lou was preceded in death by her husband, Richard (Dick) Davenport.

A service to celebrate Mary Lou's life will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on November 26, 2024, at 11:00 am. A graveside service will follow at Sunset Memorial Cemetery in Greeley.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Habitat for Humanity in her memory.
