Mary Alyce (Klein) Allmer, 84, passed away peacefully on May 14, 2025, in Greeley, Colorado. Born on December 15, 1940, in Greeley, she was the daughter of Jacob and Katherine (Reifschneider) Klein.

Mary was a beloved wife, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her sister, Shirley (Klein) Rowe, and leaves behind a large and loving extended family of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Allmer; her parents, Jacob and Katherine Klein; and her brothers, Milton (Mary Ellen) Reifschneider and James Klein.

Mary was known for her quick wit, warm presence, and deep devotion to her family and beloved pets.

She graduated from Pierce High School in 1959 and enjoyed a long career as a telephone operator, working at Mountain Bell, Weld County Hospital, and Union Colony Bank before retiring.

On January 15, 1971, she married the love of her life, William Allmer. We take comfort in the thought of their joyful reunion and his warm embrace. Her memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.

A graveside service and celebration of life will be held in her honor on Tuesday, May 20, 2025, at 1:00 p.m., at Linn Grove Cemetery in Greeley, Colorado.
