IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Manuel G
Fojaco
December 21, 1925 – December 27, 2024
Manuel G. "Manny" Fojaco, "Papa", passed away peacefully on December 27, 2024 in Lutz, FL at the age of 99.
Manuel Fojaco was born in Tampa, FL on December 21, 1925 to Anna and Florentino Fojaco. Growing up he was on the boys tumbling team and LT Commander in ROTC. He prides himself on winning the city championship in bowling and breaking a bowling alley house record that remains unbeaten. He dearly loved his wife Pat and would stop anything he was doing to dance with her to their favorite songs. He cherished their dog Boots and talked about her every day. He was an amazing kind man, quick wit and full of jokes. He was incredibly active late into his mid 90's; driving, bowling, mowing his yard, painting, and even building lawn furniture. You never knew what he would be up to when you visited. There was nothing he could not do once he set his mind to it.
Manuel leaves behind his step-son Randall Leavitt and his extended family. Step-daughter Lesley Drevas Kroenke; his three granddaughters, Stephaney Erdman, Stacey Lawson, Meachelle Kroenke; and his six great-grandchildren, Nicholas Erdman, Taylor Erdman, Emerson Lawson, Hunter Lawson, Milo Feliciano and Mykonos Feliciano; and two great-great grand children Wyatt and Everett Erdman.
Though we grieve his absence, we find comfort in knowing that he is reunited with Pat and their dog Boots, dancing in heaven. No longer by our side, but forever in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life will be held at his stepdaughter's home Saturday, February 1, 2025, at 2 pm.
