Luell Franklin Folk

Luell Franklin “Frank” Folk 91, of North Charleston, SC entered into eternal rest December 14, 2025. He was preceded in death by his wife Margie (Faye) Folk, his parents Ida and Hammie Folk of Bamberg, SC, his siblings William Perzie Folk Sr. (Ellen), Merle Hindman (Eugene), Herman Folk (Lenora), Lavern Folk, Jimmie Folk, Carolyn Folk, Shirley Folk, his daughter Sherry Steele, son David Harley, granddaughter Maranda Steele and grandson David Winge.

Frank was born September 19, 1934 in Bamberg, SC. He served in the US Army and worked for the USPS for over 40 years. Frank was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Frank loved telling stories about his time in the military and growing up on the farm. He will be missed dearly by all who knew him. Frank is survived by his children Belinda Lewis of Summerville, SC, Pamela Harley of North Charleston, SC, Donald Steele III (Megan Carter) of Columbia, SC, Brandon Steele and Amber Steele both of North Charleston, SC.  His grandchildren Randall Winge Jr, Amanda Floyd (Doug), Amy Winge, Jennifer Lewis and Johnny Lewis,  multiple great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life at a later date.
