Lucille “Cille” Ruybal, 63

Lucille “Cille” Ruybal, 63, of Greeley, Colorado, passed away on September 13, 2025.

On October 13, 1961, she was born to Eligio (Lee) and MaryAnn Ruybal, Cille was a devoted daughter and a loving sister. She was a 1980 graduate of Greeley Central HS.  She treasured the bonds of family and friendships.

Cille worked in manufacturing and was also a proud co-owner of Lee’s Sewing & Embroidery Center alongside her parents. Her creativity, warmth, laughter, and generosity were qualities that defined her and the relationships she nurtured.

She truly lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures; hunting, fishing, softball, camping, jet skiing with the “gang”, and gardening. She also enjoyed woodworking and doing crafts. She also was a die-hard Denver Broncos fan and had the tenacious spirit that the Broncos would win every game!

Traditions held a special place in Cille’s heart—from holiday gatherings to shared meals, she infused these with joy and imagination. Whether transforming a Christmas tree into an Easter tree 4 months later, that went along with Easter egg hunts or painting colorful designs on rocks, Cille found beauty and shared it freely with those around her.

To know Cille was to feel like family. She had a gift for making people feel seen, loved, and included—often referring to friends simply as “cousins”.  Her artistic soul, love of nature and family will live on in the hearts of those who knew her.

Cille is survived by her parents and sister; Janice Ruybal (Sue Barnd).  She was preceded in death by her brother, Randy. A loving acknowledgement to her lifelong jet ski friends, along with Michele, Ryan, Kylie, and Brady Korgan; and Lynn Hurt, and a wide circle of extended family and friends who will miss her deeply.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, September 24, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Adamson Funeral Home in Greeley, Colorado. A reception and interment will follow.
