Obituary

Louise "Weezy" Lair, 88, a life-long resident of Gloversville, NY, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2024 at Fulton Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Louise was born in Gloversville on February 18, 1936 to the late Harold and Anna Mae Lair.

In her younger years, Louise enjoyed traveling to casinos and bowling. She was also enrolled in the Lexington ARC dayhab program. She always liked to spend time watching crime television series, and in recent years she enjoyed helping around the house - especially assisting with folding and putting away the laundry, and doing the dishes.

Louise leaves behind her family, including her nieces and nephews, James "Jimmer" Kane, Brian Kane, Mark Kane, Gerald "Butch" Wager, Joanne Devrence, Shelly Wessells, and Donna Wager; her great-nieces and nephews, Cory, Taylor, Brandon, Amber, Chris, Sierra, and Mark.

Aside from her parents, Harold Sr. and Anna Mae, Louise is also preceded in passing by her siblings, Arlene Thompson and Harold Lair Jr.

Funeral services will be held privately, at the convenience of her family. She will be laid to rest in the Prospect Hill Cemetery in Gloversville with her parents. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to the Lexington Foundation, https://lexingtonfoundationinc.org/donate
