Lilly Ann Daniels was born on May 19, 1944 in MClain, Mississippi Keven Daniels and Virginia Daniels both of whom preceded her in death she was the younger of three sisters Linda (who preceded her in death ) Francine and Mae Harley.

Lilly was born and raised in McLain she attended McLain Attendance Center eventually earning her high school diploma. A passionate learner, Lilly continued her education at East Mississippi Community College, where she studied Business before shifting her focus to Child Development she went on to earn her teachers permit in early childhood development.

In 1966, Lilly met James Walton, who has since passed away they were blessed with three children James Walton J.R and Tomika Walton and Felicia Daniels (who preceded her in death )from a previous union 

Lilly was dedicated to her work but her true passion was food and her children. She spent 10 years with childcare services and later with the school district where she made a lasting impact on the children and family of the community. Lilly retired September 2016 after many years of service.

Lilly was called home after a courageous and strong battle. Her legacy will be cherished and deeply missed. Lilly leaves behind to honor her memory: her children James Walter J.R and Tomika Walton her grandchildren Derek Daniels Keshia Simmons Trayvon Daniels Davion Daniels and a host of nieces and nephews cousins family and friends all whom she loved and treasured dearlyy
