Lillian Wanda Johnson (NEE Pennington)  March 27, 1934 - August 24, 2025

Lillian W. Johnson (NEE Pennington) went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 24, 2025. She will be reunited with her late husband Douglas R. Johnson and Son Michael R. Johnson.

Lillian is survived by her loving Son Thomas Johnson and caring daughter in law Rosemary, Grandson Douglas E. Johnson (Christina), Granddaughter Ashley L Rivers (Chaz), Granddaughter Michelle Morris (Bill) and Grandson Steven Johnson (Katie).

She will be remembered by sisters Hazel Henry and Lois Brassfield, brothers Ralph Pennington, Kermit Pennington, Gary Pennington, Roy Pennington and Kenny Pennington.

Lillian loved the Lord; she absolutely loved going to Church. She would rarely miss a Sunday. If you had conversations with her, they most likely ended with her asking if you would be going with her on Sunday.

Lillian will be laid to rest next to her late husband of over 50 years.

Pastor Mike Montgomery (Shelby Bible Church) will preside.
