Larue Abrams, Jr., was born on December 4, 1946 in Dallas, Texas to Richie Faye and Larue Abrams, Sr. He departed life on December 20, 2024, in Phoenix, Arizona.

After graduating high school Larue joined the United States Air Force and served three years stationed in Anchorage, Alaska. Larue remained in Alaska following his honorable discharge and remained in there until relocating to Nevada before permanently residing in Arizona. 

Larue was preceded in death by his mother Richie Faye, father Larue Sr. and brother James. He leaves to mourn his wife Elizabeth Abrams, sisters Janice Abrams, JoAnn Faggett, Clara Jackson, Jacqueline Jones, Ruthie Taylor, Carolyn Williams and brother Carl Abrams. Larue also leaves three paternal children, daughter Zolita, daughter Taraellan and son Vitallio, three daughters by marriage, Joan, Terena and Luciana and a host of grandchildren and other relatives.

Larue held a career as a successful salesman in the jewlery and automotvie industry. As an avid bible reader and man of God, Larue never spoke a bad word against anyone and was well liked amongst his co-workers and all that were blessed to meet him. Larue was a football and food lover and will be forever remembered for his kindness, compassion and loyalty.
