Ladon Kay Barkley

LaDon Kay Barkley, age 74, passed away peacefully on July 21, 2025.

Born to Edna Maris Wilson and Charles Fredrick Wilson, LaDon was the cherished sister of Charles, Robert, Renee, Bonnie, and Travis. She was a devoted wife to the late Donald Barkley, a loving mother to her daughters, Susan and Katherine, a proud grandmother to Parker, Sierra, and Damien, and a doting great-grandmother to Ezra.

LaDon lived a life full of warmth, compassion, and kindness. She took joy in the simple things—crafting, reading, road trips, and, most of all, being a grandmother. Her greatest happiness came from time spent with her family and those she loved.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald; her daughter, Susan; her siblings Robert, Renee, and Travis; and her grandson, Damien.

LaDon will be remembered for her sharp wit, her fierce love for others, and her incredible ability to make everyone feel welcome and seen. She was a fighter—stubborn at times—but always led with a heart full of love and unwavering generosity.

Her family and friends will deeply miss her humor, her spirit, and the warmth she brought into every room. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she shared so freely.
