Kristofer William Yambrovich, 26, of Davis, California, passed in his sleep on the night of 26-27 September, 2025.He was born in Davis on August 1st, 1999 to Tawny and Michael Yambrovich and, thanks to a summer camp nickname, to many of his close friends, he was known as Sharkie. Kristofer attended Spanish immersion at Cesar Chavez Elementary School and went to middle school at Holmes Junior High School. Growing up, he had many talents and interests and made friends in every activity he joined; playing soccer and football, riding bikes and skateboards, learning trumpet and tuba, and performing in musicals in his free time. Kristofer’s energy and joy was contagious and everywhere he went, everybody else couldn’t help but feel energetic.Among his many achievements, Kristofer completed multiple long-distance bike rides, up to 100 miles, he starred in leading roles in more than 10 musicals, and played instruments for over 15 years. With his parents, he played in the Ft. Point Garrison Brass Band at the 150th anniversary of the battle of Gettysburg and he played in the Yolo Community Band when they were invited to perform at Carnegie hall in New York City. In place of graduation from Davis Senior High School, he opted to get a GED and join the Job Corps where he trained in nursing while pursuing his passion of fixing up cars.Kristofer was preceded in death by his mother, Tawny, and is survived by his father, Michael, and his siblings, Sharon Alamares, Victoria Vickery, Veronica Collins, and Cole Yambrovich. Kristofer leaves behind many friends and loved ones who are devastated by the sudden loss of him.
