Justin "Jj" Mullins

With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Justin Mullins, who left us on June 19, 2025, at the young age of 19. Born at the stroke of midnight on June 4, 2006, Justin was a shining light in the lives of all who knew him. He was welcomed into this world by his birth mother, the late Destiny Collins, who, though she transitioned just hours after his birth, left behind a legacy of love and hope that Justin carried with him throughout his life.

From the very beginning, Justin's family embraced Destiny's last wish for her son: to finish high school, respect his elders, and stay out of trouble. Justin maintained straight A's throughout his schooling, graduating with honors from Glenville High School at the age of sixteen. He was proud to be in the top two percent of his class and served as student council president, demonstrating his leadership and commitment to his peers. An All-American athlete, Justin excelled in football, baseball, and soccer, showcasing his talent and determination on the field. Justin was a passionate advocate for his community. He organized various events and drives aimed at uplifting children in the inner city, believing in the power of giving back and creating opportunities for others. Justin was truly a people person; he had a unique ability to connect with others, often spending time in parks, engaging in conversations with anyone he met. His genuine interest in people and his infectious energy made him a beloved figure in his community. He leaves behind his loving father,Eric K(55),His only brother,Eric L(36) as well as a host of aunts,uncles,cousins & close friends.
