Joseph Rex Rajchel

Joseph Rajchel was born in Columbus, Ohio and received at his early-childhood home in Delaware, Ohio on September 20, 1972. Elementary school in Cedar Rapids, IA, then middle and most of high school in Fountain Valley, CA before finishing high school in Arvada, CO in 1992 while living with his brother’s family. After knocking around at various low wage jobs after H.S., he enrolled in an engineering drafting program in 2007 at Red Rocks Community College in Lakewood, CO where he learned the trade of computer aided drafting (CAD). Afterward, he worked as a CAD designer at three aerospace companies, Adam Aircraft, Dessault, and finally, Boeing in the Seattle, WA area.

Joe moved back to Southern California about 10 years ago, after a back surgery, to live with his parents in Fountain Valley. A year and a half ago, he was diagnosed with cancer and other maladies. On April 13, 2025, Joe passed away. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Stanley Rajchel (2020), and sister, Lisa Renee Rajchel (1971). He is survived by his mother, Sidney Chloe Rajchel and his brother Marcus. His cremated remains will be interred at the Union Cemetery in Columbus, OH alongside his sister, who passed away in March 1971.
