Jordyn Malia Diogo Valdez

Like a comet by Jordyn Valdez - You pass by like a comet, a shooting star, a meteor; rare and so very beautiful but too far away to reach.

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Jordyn Malia Diogo Valdez.  

Born in Hawaii, she passed away peacefully at the age of 22, in Oregon, surrounded by her mom, dad and brother. 

Jordyn was the MDA Goodwill Ambassador for both Hawaii and Oregon.  She was also her high school’s yearbook editor for two years. She graduated with a 4.0 GPA.  Jordyn loved volunteering and spending time with the babies at a daycare program. She was an avid writer who loved singing and spending time with family and friends. 

She is survived by her parents, Framil & Ana, brother Landen, grandparents, uncles and her piggies Nutmeg and Phoebe. She also leaves behind numerous other relatives and many friends.  She will be missed dearly. 

Although Jordyn left this earth far too soon, she made a positive impact on everyone she met. Her determination, strength, kindness and sense of humor will forever live in all our hearts.
