John Wood

My Life Story John B. Wood, 90, of Kuna passed away Monday, January 9, 2017 at a Boise care center. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, January 14, 2017 at the Kuna Cemetery. Friends wishing to attend are invited to dress casually and warmly and share remembrances. John was born in Everton, Missouri to Uel and Claude Wood. The family moved to Idaho when John was a small boy. John attended school in Meridian. Following high school John enlisted in the Navy. After his tour in the Navy, he stayed in California where he met Patsy Starr who became his wife in September 1950. They later would return to Idaho where John drove for Greyhound Bus and Armor Meat for many years before finally purchasing their farm where he remained active and still farmed until just a few years ago. John is survived by his son Randy Wood and his wife Deanna; his daughter Kathy Erickson and husband Rich; three grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
