John W. Hewitt, age 96, died Monday, February 8, 2016 at Glendale Nursing Home, Scotia.
A private funeral service will take place at Jeffords & Stewart Funeral Home, 85 W. Main St; Broadalbin, with Major Michael Himes officiating. Interment will take place in the spring at Edinburg Cemetery, Edinburg.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to The Salvation Army, P.O. Box 918, Schenectady, NY 12301.
