Jerry Wayne Scott

Jerry Wayne Scott, age 75, of Kingsport, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, July 11, 2018 at Holston Valley Medical Center. He was a Veteran of the United States Military having proudly served in the US Army. He was a retiree of Eastman Chemical Company with 34+ years of service. He was saved and baptized as a young boy. He enjoyed anything to do with the military and Nascar. He was preceded in death by his parents, Hugh and Mary Scott. He is survived by his son, Tim Scott; daughter, Melissa Montgomery and husband, Rev. Blake; grandchildren, Bon and Shon Scott, and Morgan and Hannah Montgomery; brother, Charles E. Scott; sister, Phyllis Arnold; several nieces and nephews. A private family graveside will be held at a later time at East Lawn Memorial Park.
