Janice Ann Abbott, 75, of Williamsville, NY, passed away on Thursday, March 13, 2025, at Millard Fillmore Suburban Hospital.

She was born on November 29, 1949, in Gloversville, NY, to the late James S. and Margaret (Fear) Abbott.

Janice enjoyed spending time with her family, attending day program, and going out for ice cream sundaes. Janice will be remembered for her love of the color purple and the joy she brought to those around her.

She was predeceased by her parents James and Margaret Abbott.

Janice is survived by her brother James E. Abbott; nieces Shauna Abbott and Lindsey (Daniel) Bost; her sister Carol (Fred) Nussbaum; nephews Michael (Jody) and Fred (Sarah) Nussbaum. Janice loved her great nieces and nephews.

Janice's care has been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. A private interment will be held at Ferndale Cemetery in Johnstown.
