Janet Marie Roberson, 73, of Gloversville, NY, passed away on Sunday, December 15, 2024, at Nathan Littauer Hospital.

She was born on September 14, 1951, in Syracuse, NY, to the late Doris (Eaden) and Melville Lang. She attended schooling in Syracuse and afterwards began working as a cleaner for Broadalbin Nursing Home. She worked there for many years before continuing her career as a housekeeper for St Mary's Hospital in Amsterdam. She was employed there for several years until her retirement in 2019.

Janet enjoyed fishing, camping, going to Fonda Speedway, and relaxing at the beach. She loved her pizza and chicken wings with a beer to accompany them. She especially enjoyed her family reunion every year and always looked forward to attending. More than anything, she loved being with her family, baking cookies with her grandchildren, and spending time with her pumpkin pie (MacKenzie McSpirit).

She was predeceased by her parents Melville and Doris Lang; several brothers and sisters; as well as her cherished dog Precious.

Janet is survived by her sons Clark Roberson Jr., Jeffrey (Gabbi) Roberson, and Christopher (Carrie) Roberson; former husband Clark Roberson Sr.; brothers Robert, Ron, and Dale Lang; sisters Shirley Jean Morgan, Ruth Wolcotte, Marilyn Slawoniewski, and Diane Sweatland; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren; beloved dog Brandy; along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In keeping with Janet's wishes, there will be no services at this time.
