Jamie Suzanne Newland

Jamie Suzanne Newland passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 40 to a hard fought battle with cancer. 

 She was born on April 11, 1984 in Denver, CO. During her youth, Jamie enjoyed art, swimming, and racing quarter midgets. She also competed in DECA, her high school business program. After graduating high school, Jamie went on to pursue multiple educational opportunities at Wyoming and Johnson and Wales State Universities. She then earned her degree in hospitality and event management at Metro State University. After college, Jamie found her niche in commercial real estate in Denver and San Diego. In 2016, she was hired by S.V. Capital which took her to Cabo San Lucas where she managed the development of luxury property. Jamie was also an avid philanthropist with a passion for helping those in need. Examples of her support included writing letters to breast cancer survivors and deployed soldiers, donations to local dog rescues, and sewing quilts for children who are ill.

 Jamie will be eternally remembered by her parents Jim Newland, Kris Newland and her step mother Teri Newland; her sister Lindsey Arias and her step sister Erika Burke; her brothers in law Marco Arias and Bryce Burke; her nieces and nephews Julie, Zoe, Mia, Killian, Lily, and Alden James; and her fur babies Maurice, Mila, and Felipe.

 A celebration in memory of Jamie Suzanne Newland will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Name Catholic Parish 3290 W. Milan Ave. Sheridan, CO. A luncheon will follow from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. Following the reception there will be a private family burial at Littleton Cemetery.
