James Edward Ford Sr

Lexington, Kentucky James Edward Ford, Sr. 89, husband of Mary Evelyn Stafford Ford, died Wednesday, March 12, 2014 at V.A. Hospital Leestown Road. He was born in Anderson County, Kentucky, son of the late Agusta and Sylvia Neudigate Ford Staley. He was a retired mechanic with LR Cooke Chevrolet, a US Navy Veteran and a charter member of Clays Mill Road Baptist Church. Surviving besides his wife is his daughter, Connie Ford (Mickey) Lipscomb, his son, James Edward (Sharon) Ford, Jr.; five grandchildren, Ginger Ford, Sandy Duncan, Marilyn Brooke French, all of Lexington, Christopher Todd (Lori) Hughes, Louisville, James Brandon Hughes and Corey Allan Hager both of Lexington; three great grandchildren, Michael H. Miller III, Madison Miller and Courtney Nicole Hughes. Funeral Information Memorial Service will be 3:00 PM, Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Clays Mill Road Baptist Church, Lexington, Kentucky. Service will be conducted by Pastor Jeffrey Fugate.
