Irving "Sonny" Honig

Irving Honig, 93, of Gilbert, passed away on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 in Gilbert.

Mr. Honig, a retired Quality Control Specialist for Boeing, was born on November 6, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY to Meyer and Anna (Salvage) Honig.

He was a United States Army Veteran, having served in Korea.

He is survived by his children, Sherri Lynn Reccord of Nipomo, CA, Rhonda Rubcic of Melnorne, FL, Brett Honig of Phoenix, AZ,  his longtime companion, Vera Jean Harrington of Gilbert, AZ; his niece, Meryl Winsor of Mesa, his nephew, Marc Hoffman of Mesa,  5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:30 AM, Wednesday, October 2, 2024 at The National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona, 2929 E. Pinnacle Peak Rd., Phoenix.
