Iris Rosario

January 30, 1934 – June  06, 2025

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Iris, who left us at the age of 91. A longtime resident of Liberty, Iris made her home in several places throughout the community, where she built a life rich in friendships and joyful memories.

Known for her vibrant spirit and love of life, Iris cherished time spent with friends, especially over a good cup of coffee. She had a passion for fashion and always took pride in her appearance—never seen without her makeup, her hair and nails beautifully done, and her signature bright red lipstick that lit up every room she entered.

Iris loved going on mini vacations with her close circle of friends. Whether shopping, dining out, or simply relaxing, they always shared laughter, stories, and unforgettable moments. A true lover of music and movement, Iris delighted in dancing.

Her zest for life, her firecracker personality, and her infectious smile touched the lives of all who knew her. Iris will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of her friends and loved ones.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at 11:00a.m. in the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Funeral Home 171 Guy Park Avenue Amsterdam. A calling hour will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service. Burial will be in St. Michael’s Cemetery.
