November 28, 1972 — March 24, 2026

Gregory "Greg" John Gustafson, born on November 28, 1972, in Minnesota, passed away peacefully on March 24, 2026, in Littleton, Colorado, surrounded by his loving family. He was 53 years old.

Greg was a remarkable husband to his devoted wife, Echo Gustafson, and a loving father to his children, Piper and Kyle Gustafson. His family was the core of his existence, and he embraced every moment spent with them, whether it be cheering them on in sports, enjoying quiet evenings at home, or sharing laughter during family movie nights.

Greg is also survived by his siblings—Marc Gustafson, Heather Gustafson Hodges, Brenton Hogan, and Sonia Titania—as well as his father, Robert Gustafson, and a treasured circle of nephews and a niece. Each of these relationships showcased the generous spirit and loyalty that defined Greg's life, and he was always there to provide support and wisdom to those around him.

Greg pursued higher education at the Metropolitan State University of Denver, earning a Bachelor's degree in Political Science. He carried this intelligence into his career as a Senior Analyst at Vizient, Inc., where he made significant contributions with his critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

In his personal life, Greg was known for his strength and curiosity. He had a natural ability to fix things, whether it was a broken appliance or the mood around him. His humor lit up the darkest days, and he effortlessly brought joy to every gathering with his quick wit. Greg's kindness, generosity, and loyalty were evident to all who knew him, making him a steadfast friend and mentor.

Outside of work, Greg had a passion for watching hockey, enjoying the thrill of the game, and sharing this enthusiasm with family and friends. He also cherished the moments spent playing with and snuggling his dogs, reveling in the simple pleasures of life. A notable athlete in his youth, he showcased his skills as a varsity soccer goalie in high school, a testament to his dedication and love for sports. His leadership and involvement in the community were evident in his position as the head of the Elbert County Sherrif's Office (ECSO) Citizens Council, which he held up until his passing.

A celebration of Greg's life will be held at the Elizabeth Brewing Company, located at 239 Main St, Elizabeth, CO, on April 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM MST. Friends and family are invited to gather in remembrance of a man whose presence brought warmth and wisdom into their lives.

In this time of sorrow, may we find solace in the cherished memories of Greg, who will forever hold a special place in the hearts of all who loved him.
