Gloria D'Achille Kunicki, 95, of Gloversville NY passed away peacefully on April 17, 2025. Born in Baltimore MD, she was the daughter of the late Domenico and Maria DeAngelis D'Achille. She was predeceased by her husband, Leonard Kunicki who she married in 1956. She was also predeceased by siblings Emelia Siciliano, Louis, Thomas and Philip D'Achille. Gloria moved to Brooklyn with her family when she was 4 years old. In 1966 she relocated to Gloversville with her husband Leonard and their three children. Gloria was the cafeteria manager at Bishop Burke High School and was known as Mama K. She also worked for the late Dr. Brickner as an office administrator. Later she worked as a dental assistant and receptionist for the late Dr. Joseph Berg and Dr. Wayne Harrison, retiring in 1998. Post retirement, Gloria kept herself busy with family and friends while residing in Saratoga Springs and then Johnstown. As her health declined she was taken care of by her loving daughter Gina, who did everything she could to keep Gloria comfortable. She is survived by her three children, Leonard (Andrea) Kunicki of Gloversville, Gina (Sam) Weil-Serafin of Johnstown, and Kathryn (Blaise) Brojakowski of North Carolina, six grandchildren, Jeffrey Kunicki, Robin (Timothy Neer) Kunicki, Erich (Julie) and Scott (Alex Hansen-) Weil, Matthew and Jocelyn Brojakowski and six great grandchildren, Brayden and Nikolai Weil, Declan and Dawson Neer, Camryn and Sydney Weil, several nieces, nephews, cousins and her sisters-in-law Lucille and Rosalind D'Achille. Visitation will take place on Tuesday April 22 from 5-7 pm at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger and Stewart Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street Gloversville. A Mass of Christian burial will take place at the Church of the Holy Spirit, Gloversville on Wednesday April 23 at 10 am. burial will take place in Mt. Carmel Cemetery immediately following the service. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Dementia Society of America - https://www.dementiasociety.org
