In the love and memory of Glenn Bellamy

**In Loving Memory of Glenn Bellamy (1959 - 2025)** It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Glenn Bellamy, a beloved husband, father, son, brother, and friend, who departed this world on May 25, 2025, at the age of 65. Glenn’s life was a tapestry of kindness, energy, and ambition, leaving a legacy that will inspire those who knew him. Born on September 17, 1959, Glenn was a pillar of strength and support for his family. He is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Bellamy; their son, Tray Bellamy; his loving mother, Ethel Bellamy; and his cherished siblings, Shirley Hamad, Eloise Horne, and Corey Bellamy. Glenn was preceded in death by his father, Fred Bellamy, whose memory he carried with pride throughout his life. Glenn proudly served in the United States Army as an E4, demonstrating unwavering dedication and commitment to his country. His time in the military earned him the Army Service Ribbon and a Good Conduct Medal, affirming his discipline and integrity. Following his service, he pursued a career as a truck driver, where he navigated not just the roads, but also the hearts of those around him with his infectious enthusiasm for life and love for fast cars. Known for his generous spirit and kindness, Glenn was always ready to lend a helping hand or share a word of encouragement. His energetic personality illuminated every room, making it a little brighter, a little warmer, and full of laughter. Those who encountered him were often touched by his ability to make them feel valued and understood. Glenn’s passions extended beyond his work; he had a deep love for fast cars, often sharing this joy with friends and family. Whether it was sharing stories behind the wheel or attending car shows, his enthusiasm brought people together and created lasting memories. A commemorative ceremony will be held in honor of Glenn’s remarkable life on Tuesday, July 22, 2025, at 12:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery, located at 4170 Percival Road, Columbia, SC. In celebrating Glenn’s life, let us remember the vibrant, kind-hearted man who showed us the importance of living fully and loving deeply. As we say goodbye, let us carry forward Glenn's legacy of kindness, ambition, and zest for life, reminding ourselves to embrace every moment with the same passion he did.
