Gladys Dear Kincy

Gladys passed away shortly after leaving the hospital on November 16, 2023 at the tender age of 86. Being born to a mother of Afro descent and father with Indigenous American roots, she grew up with a strong sense of culture, traditional values, and history that was passed down from generation to generation. Gladys spent the majority of her life in rural Mississippi and prided herself on being a wife, home maker, excellent cook, organizer, and caretaker. She was the mother of 13 children and will be greatly missed by her children, grand children, great grandchildren, great great grand children, friends, neighbors and acquaintances. We are currently in the process of organizing a ceremony that celebrates her life.
