Gerald F. Soucia, 80, of Charlotteville, New York, passed away peacefully on November 12, 2024 at Albany Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. Gerald was born on June 8, 1944 in Churubusco, New York to the late Wilfred and Rose (Lagree) Soucia.

Gerald worked in construction for most of his life, and most recently was the owner and operator of Soucia Trucking in Charlotteville.

Gerald leaves behind his loving family, including his children, Tina Soucia, Jerry (Abbie) Soucia, and Dee (Michael) Brandenburg; his step-children, Joe (Cathy) Bender, Laurie (Lewis) Ward, Ricky (Cindy) Summers, Daniel Summers, and Fred (Dana) Clapper; his siblings, Janet King, Shirley Cole, and Jim Soucia; as well as many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Aside from his parents, Wilfred and Rose, Gerald is also preceded in passing by his beloved wife, Jean Soucia (nee Schambers), his step-daughter, Angel Catchot, as well as by siblings, Veronica Trombley and Gary Soucia.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11:30AM in the East Worcester Cemetery, 10233 NY-7, East Worcester, NY 12064 with the Rev. Dr. R.W. Williams presiding, where he will be laid to rest with Jean.
