Genoveva Lopez Montano, age 73, beloved mother and grandmother, passed away peacefully on the morning of May 31st at home.

Born on January 3rd 1951 in Mexico City, Genoveva was a devoted daughter of Victoria and Manuel, one of 16 siblings, a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend. She dedicated her life to raising her six children with unwavering love, strength, and compassion. Her kindness, wisdom, and gentle spirit touched the lives of all who knew her.

Including her six children: Alejandro, Miguel, Felipe, Fanny, Inocensio, and David; she is survived by 16  grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many precious friends and family in Florida,  Washington, and Mexico. She was preceded in death by both her parents and her son Jorge.

She enjoyed going thrift shopping and feeding her children. She was a certified caregiver, and her greatest joy came from spending time with her family and watching them grow.

A Funeral Service will be held on June 6th at 2pm at Sun City Center Funeral Home, followed immediately by a Reception from 3pm – 5pm.

She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew and loved her.
