Gene Eidy

Gene Eidy (born 8/8/1937 Died 11/14/2024)

 Gene was born in Detroit, Michigan to Mihley and Maxine Eidy. Gene attended Cal State Long Beach and earned a Master’s Degree in Art. Gene worked as a typographer, and graphic designer, then became a professor at Metropolitan State College in Denver, Colorado until his retirement. He was awarded Professor Emeritus.

 Gene played drums with several bands in California and Colorado for many years. 

Gene was preceded in death by his father Mihley Eidy and his mother Maxine Eidy. He is survived by his wife Sara Tack, sister Kathleen Confer, cousin Sandra Johnson and many nieces and nephews and cousins.
