Francis R. Durrin, 70, of Johnstown, New York, passed away on November 13, 2024 at St. Mary's Hospital. Francis was born on July 25, 1954 in Gloversville, New York to the late David Sr. and Dorothy (Town) Durrin.

Francis worked in all of the local leather mills throughout Fulton County for many years, until his retirement in 2019.

Throughout his life, Fran's passion was playing music. He could play the guitar from the time he could walk, and he also learned to play the keyboard. He put his passion to good use with his brothers, playing in a band with them out of Ray's garage every weekend they could.

Francis is survived by his son, Nathan Durrin; his siblings, Raymond Durrin, Victor Edwards, Victoria Edwards; his step-siblings, Eugene, Debbie, Rebecca, Nickie and Shawn; as well as by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Aside from his parents, David and Dorothy, Fran is also preceded in passing by his siblings, David, Glen, Janet, and Carol, as well as by his step-brother, Terri.

In keeping with Fran's wishes, a celebration of life will be held privately, at the convenience of his family.
