Frances Blowers, 89, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Capstone Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing.

Born on May 6, 1935, in Gloversville, a daughter of the late Martin and Dorothy (Baird) Smith. A lifelong resident of the area, Frances attended Mayfield School. She worked for many years as a Knitting Machinist at Gloversville Knitt.

Frances loved to read, listen to music, watch Westerns and older tv shows and to do diamond dots. Most of all, she loved to spend time with her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend, who will be missed by all who knew her.

Frances was predeceased by her husband, Richard Blowers, siblings, Dorothy Travis, Margorie Murray and Martin Smith, Jr. She is survived by her daughters, Donna Hoag (the late Mark), Natalie Blowers; sons, Richard and William Blowers; grandchildren, Bessie Blowers, Samantha Blowers, William "Bud" Blowers and Christina Casey; great grandchildren, Jaxon & James Blowers, Liam, Rileigh and Sadie Casey; brother-in-law, Robert Blowers (the late Rachel).

Frances's care has been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
