Ezekiel Michael David Donaire Higgins

The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord (Job 1:21).

Ezekiel Michael David Donaire Higgins was born at 5:50 A.M. July 16, 2025. He passed away at 8:46 A.M. July 16, 2025. He is survived by his father Jethro Higgins, mother Lizanie Higgins, brothers Kuya William (13), Gabriel (11), Marcus (10), and Lucas Higgins (7), and his sisters Ate Isabella (8) and Julianna Higgins (4).

Ezekiel’s time with us here on Earth was very short, but his entire life was filled with the love of his family. In his short time with us here on Earth, Ezekiel especially enjoyed our family rosary. Each night as we prayed the rosary together, Ezekiel was very active as he heard the voices of his family. He had a special relationship with his big sister Julianna, who would greet him good morning every day, and kiss him goodnight every night. In the less than three hours he was with us outside of the womb, Ezekiel received an ocean of love with hugs and kisses from his whole family, including his Gram Gram, Vickie Higgins, His Paca, Tim Higgins, and his godparents, Belle and Robert Caracol.

He was baptized and confirmed before joining the saints in heaven with a sinless heart. “The Lord gives, and the Lord takes away. Blessed be the name of the Lord (Job 1:21).” Ezekiel was baptized and therefore washed clean of all sin, and never committed a personal sin in his life, so we can be confident that he is with the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit in heaven. For this reason, we can ask Ezekiel to pray for us. Ezekiel's funeral mass will be held at St. Mary Catholic Church on Friday July 25th, at 12:15 P.M., and he will be interred at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
