Evan Patrick Brown

Evan Patrick Brown, passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2018. Born in Yuba City in 1989, Evan attended local schools graduating from Yuba City High School with honors. He began his college education at Chico State, where he was a founding member and Vice President of the CSUC Secular Student Alliance. Following the completion of his bachelor's degrees, he continued his Spanish studies at UC Davis, where he completed his master's degree and was working on his PhD. Evan was an intelligent, gifted person who enjoyed philosophical conversations, had an affinity for languages, and was a passionate, talented musician. He enjoyed nothing more than hanging out with friends and family while playing the guitar and singing. He was very close with his family and was a genuine friend to all he met. He will be forever missed by his father, Brian; mother Carolyn, brother and best friend, Garrett; uncle Alan and aunt Coco, grandmother, Ann DeVeny; and his many friends.A celebration of Evan's life is planned for the spring time 2018. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of your choice.
