Don D. Ziegler passed away on March 6, 2025.  He was born in Denver in April 1947 to William Ziegler and Maxine Lamm.  The family moved to Julesburg, Colorado, where he graduated from Julesburg High School in 1965.  Shortly after high school, he served for three years in the U.S. Army.

He was part owner of Don's Texaco and later worked as service consultant at the Garnsey and Wheeler Ford Dealership.  In his leisure time, he enjoyed working on and restoring old vehicles, and traveling around the state to truck pulls with his pal, Jim.

Don is preceded in death by his parents, son Mark, and his brother Bob.

Graveside services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens on April 25, at 2:00 p.m.  for family and friends.
