Doloris Louise Parsons

Doloris Louise Parsons (Nee Coontz) passed peacefully Christmas morning December 25 2024.

Doloris was born in Akron Ohio April 4, 1943 to Geraldine and Harry Coontz. One of ten children.

She was a devoted wife and mother of two daughters. Doloris was a strong woman and known for her love of animals especially the many yorkies she and her husband Larry raised over the years.

Preceded in death by her parents, brothers Cayton Coontz and Kenny Coontz, sisters, Marge Schwartz, Imy Lonsberry, Patty Beane and loving husband Larry Parsons.

Survived by her daughters Joenita Scannell (Stephen), and Lisa Flocker (David), Grand children Nathan Garcia (Katy), Taylor Horvath (Alex), and Gabrielle Flocker. And Great grand children Dylan Garcia, and Ashton and Peyton Horvath. Also survived by her sisters, Emy Pritchard, Deanna Ferguson, Nancy Briggs (Gary), and Chris Hughes (Craig). And many nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the caregivers at Silverleaf Assisted Living  for their compassionate care of our mom during her illness.
