Dennis Michael Moog, 70, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2023 with his loving wife, Patricia by his side.
He was born to parents Fred and Mildred Moog, on October 6, 1952, in Baltimore, Maryland. Dennis graduated from Andover High School in 1972. Shortly after graduation, he enlisted into the United States Army where he was stationed in Germany. After his time in the military, he went on to work for the Federal Government as a photographer. There he photographed several high military officers and received numerous accolades.
Dennis loved music. For many years he played as a drummer in the bands, Good ‘n Plenty, Jimmy Velvet and Relative Theory just to name a few. He bled orange in the summer for the Baltimore Orioles and purple in the fall for the Baltimore Ravens. And if the sun was shining, you could find him on the beach or at the pool.
Dennis was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Patricia, his daughters, Brandi and Chelsea, his son in laws, Kurt and Heath, and his grandchildren, Kaylyn, Natalie, Lucas, Levi, Noah and Eden.
Dennis was a light to all that knew him. He had an infectious laugh and brought goofiness with him wherever he went. He will sorely be missed, but we rejoice in knowing that he is no longer suffering. He is worshiping with the saints in heaven, restored to perfect health.
“We were filled with laughter ,and we sang for joy. And the other nations said, “What amazing things the Lord has done for them.” Psalm 126:2
