Deloris Catherine Shimer

SHIMER, Deloris C.

89, of Land O’ Lakes, Fl. passed away peacefully on October 17, 2024.  Deloris was born in Minneapolis, Mn. to Chester and Harriet Peterson.  Deloris was a loving Mother, Daughter, Sister and friend.  She was a long time member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority and one of the initial members of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.  She enjoyed playing tennis, supporting her sons activities, caring for her many furry friends over the years and entertaining for her family and friends.  She was predeceased by her husband of 58 years Frank D. Shimer and is survived by her sons Mike (Nannette), Scott and Sister-in-Law Barbara; two Grandchildren, Alex and Stephanie.  A Memorial service will take place at 11:00 am on November 15, 2024 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Lutz, Fl.
