Obituary

Deborah L. Lince, 68, of Johnstown, NY, passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2025, at home surrounded by her beloved family.

She was born on December 30, 1956, in Rhode Island to the late Walter and Loretta (White) Lince. Her family moved to Gloversville when she was young, and she attended Gloversville School District. Afterwards, she began her lifelong career working in various factories. Most recently, she worked as a machine operator for Amsterdam Print & Litho, where she retired after 12 years of employment.

Deborah enjoyed going bowling and playing bingo. She loved to spend her summers going to garage sales and taking rides anywhere, as long as she was outside doing something. She was always making jokes and making people laugh. She was a social butterfly, no matter where she went everyone enjoyed her presence. Her favorite past time was to park her car in different local places and people watch with her family.

She was predeceased by her parents Walter and Loretta Lince; son Theodore Wiedemann Jr.; and grandson K'von Morgan.

Deb is survived by her partner of over 30 years Kevin Vanvranken; children Tonya (Chris Sr.) Cionek, John (Jill) Wiedemann, James (Jan) Wiedemann, and Kim Royall; siblings Donna (Larry) McGillis, Doris VanBuren, Tina (John) Pasquariello, Della (AJ) DeBell, and Doriann Lince; grandchildren Clayton (Briann VanEvery) Cionek, David Cionek, Jenna Wiedemann, Riane Wiedemann, John Wayne (Destiny) Wiedemann, Ashley (DJ) Friar, Corey (Carly) Friar, Carrie Friar, Jessie (Mel) Royall, Stacey (Michael) Hume, Sasha (Justin) Kinslow, Amber (David) Vaden, and Teddy "Stubb" (Alyssa) Wiedemann III; many great-grandchildren; as well as several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Deborah's arrangements have been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. There will be no services at this time.
