Curtis "Curt" Brunton

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Curtis Brunton, born on March 20, 1962, in North Saint Paul, Minnesota to Neil and Eileen Brunton. Curtis left us on November 2, 2025, after a lifetime of laughter and love. He was a sibling of 8 to Carter, Claudia, Elenor, Candice, Cora, Charlie and Connie. He has many cherished memories growing up in the North St Paul area with his sibling's.Curtis was a beloved father to Jessica Ruberto,(Andrew Ruberto) Kayla Pettit (Zach Pettit) and Ben Brunton. He adored his three grandchildren Addison Blaize and Eylie he cherished every moment spent with them. 

He attended Tartan Senior High School and furthered his education at the University of Wisconsin-Stout. Curtis dedicated 30 years of his life to being a devoted social worker for adults with disabilities, making a lasting impact on countless lives.

In his free time, Curtis enjoyed fishing, playing hockey, and participating in softball leagues. He was happiest when he was out on the lake on his boat or cheering on his children and nieces and nephews at their sporting events.

Curtis will be remembered for his quick wit, infectious smile, and unwavering devotion to his family and friends. He will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.

There will be a small family and close Friends viewing on November ,14, 2025 at 3:00 pm until 3:30 pm at Sanberg Funeral Home. There will be a Celebration of life held at the American Legion in North St.Paul this will take place in spring of 2026.There will be more details provided later on this year regarding his celebration.
