With broken hearts, we announce the passing of Cory Michael Sledd Jr., who left this world far too soon on May 1, 2025, at the age of 30.

Born on January 19, 1995, Cory was a deeply loved son, grandson, brother, and friend. Known for his kind soul, quiet strength, and deep heart, Cory had a unique way of making others feel seen even while fighting battles few ever knew the depth of. His smile could light up a room, and his presence left a mark on those who truly knew him.

Though his journey through life was not always easy, Cory’s love for his family never wavered. He shared a special bond with his siblings and leaves behind memories that will be treasured forever. He was a protector at heart, always wanting to do better and be better, even when life made it hard. Those who loved him held tightly to hope for his healing and will continue to carry that love forward.

Cory is survived by his mother Brandy Sledd and her fiancé Jeff Robins; his father, Cory Sledd Sr. and stepmother, Jennifer Sledd; his siblings Anthony, Ali and Ethan, stepsiblings Rachael and Rebecca; and his grandparents Patrica & Mike Leonard, Barry  & Bonnie Sledd , Donna & Ernest Bell, Jeffery Burd & Tamara, all who loved him dearly. He also leaves behind a large extended family and friends who will forever hold him close in their hearts
