Christopher K. Rossi, 70, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026 at the Charlotte House, North Java, NY from cancer.
He was born on October 12, 1955 in Amsterdam and was the son of the late Elmer J. Rossi Jr. (Estella) and Patricia Parker. (late Donald Parker).
He is survived by his sisters, Kim Rossi (Owen Gould) and Theresa Rajter-Pawlak (late Robert Pawlak); his niece, Christen Rajter-Barbaro (Vincent); nephews, Steven Rajter (Krystal), Theodore Rajter and Donald Rajter; four great-nephews, Tyler, Mica, Hudson and Landon; a great-niece, Cali; two aunts,
Marcia McGuian and Deborah Joraleman;, and many Cousins. Best friend since childhood, Tom Sheppie and his former brother-in-law, Alex Rajter.
Christopher graduated from Perth High school in 1974. In high school, he was a Baseball, football and basketball athlete excelling mostly in baseball. He attended Orange Community College, majoring in physical education. Following college, he moved to Queens, NY and begun a career in Informational Technology working for the stock brokerage company, Hambrict & Quist. He continued to work as an IT specialist for a variety of stock brokerage companies working his way up to an IT Manager. He retired at the age of 66. He lived in Queens, NY but spent the last two years of his life living with his sister Kim and brother-in-law, Owen in Olean, NY while battling cancer.
A private graveside service will be held in the spring at the St. Mary's Cemetery in Fort Johnson. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Charlotte House, 4316 route 98, North Java, NY 14113.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY.
