Christopher Allen Amundson

August 13, 1972 — February 11, 2025

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Christopher Amundson on February 11, 2025 at the age of 52. 

Chris is survived by his loving wife April, son Bowen, daughter Josephine (Zachariah), and grandson Walter. He also leaves behind his mother Victoria, father Dave and step-mother Maralou, siblings, cousins, and several friends that were like family.

A dedicated public servant, Chris built a career with the federal government following his honorable service in the United States Air Force. He had many loves, whiskey, comicon and sports. He was also known throughout the Puget Sound region as a passionate football and flag football referee. His enthusiasm for flag football inspired many, and he took great pride in seeing the sport's upcoming debut in the 2028 Olympics.

Chris's vibrant energy and warmth touched everyone around him. He was fiercely protective of his loved ones and approached life with great joy and passion. His lighthearted spirit and lasting impact on his community will be felt and remembered fondly for a long time.

A celebration of Chris's life was held on Saturday, March 1st, at the Fruitland Grange, .
