Christa King

Christa King (August 16, 1941 - May 7, 2024)

Christa King, 82, a devout Christian from Highlands Ranch, Colorado, returned to God on May 7, 2024, in Parker, Colorado.

Christa was born in Mannheim, Germany, to parents Alfred and Thekla Grubitzsch. While in Germany, Christa met and married Bill King. Shortley after, they moved their family to the United States, where their family continued to grow. Christa enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and congregation, as well as, rooting on the Denver Broncos. Christa had a contagious laugh, that those who knew and loved her, will always remember. Above all, Christa loved Jesus and spoke about the joy she would take in hearing Him say her name for the first time. 

Christa is survived by her son, Ronnie King and daughter-in-law, Carol King; daughter, Judy Ferrel and son-in-law, Richard Ferrel; son Norman King; 12 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren. 

Services will be held at 4pm on May 21, 2024, at Arapahoe Road Baptist Church, in Centennial, Colorado.
