Carol S. Griffith, 78, of Gloversville, NY, passed away on Friday, January 24, 2025, at St Peter's Hospital in Albany surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on July 4, 1946, in Gloversville to the late Carl and Jane (O'Donnell) Bovee. She grew up locally and graduated from Gloversville High School. Later in life, she worked in various jobs while taking care of her family. Most recently, she was employed as a Pharmacy Technician at the CVS in Schenectady.

Carol enjoyed cooking and baking for those she loved. She will be remembered for the many cakes she baked and decorated for her friends and family.

She was predeceased by her parents Carl and Jane Bovee, along with her siblings Harvey, Janet, Charles, and Noel. Carol is survived by her two sons Paul and Doug Griffith; siblings Danny, Thom, and Lorraine; and their families.

Family and friends are invited to call on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from 1:30 pm to 3:00 pm at Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville, NY 12078. A service of remembrance will be held at 3:00 pm. Carol will be interred at Prospect Hill Cemetery at a later date.
